More than crippled, severely damaged and put out of work due to a direct hit on the boilers, the Hannover-Limmer factory fell of use until the end of the war. The plant was reopened and resumed production in June 1945 after permission from the British military.

The vast and neglected rubber factory was nestled like a dark, hidden jewel amongst a relatively clean and modern neighborhood, although I'm sure most residents nearby would liken it to a rotting tooth. A prominent water tower jutted from the center of the facility, wanly brandishing the Continental logo at its crown.
