US Eastman to double insoluble sulphur capacity
HOUSTON (ICIS)--Eastman Chemical plans to double capacity for its Crystex insoluble sulphur in Malaysia, the CEO of the US-based producer said on Friday. Mark Costa said that Eastman would install a new "breakthrough technology" at its site in Kuantan to significantly reduce the product's manufacturing costs. Project completion is expected in the first half of 2017.
