The association revealed that in 2017, the country earned US$2.3 billion from export of 1.4 million tonnes of natural rubber, up 36% in value and 11.4% in volume year on year.

Vietnam exported an estimated 312,000 tonnes of rubber in the first four months of 2016, up 26.7% from a year ago, based on government data released on Wednesday. The export volume forecast for 2016 would be the lowest since 2011, when Vietnam shipped 817,000 tonnes.
