10 days in Cambodia -suggestions please - Cambodia Forum
My husband and I are looking at possibly spending 10 days in Cambodia Dec-Jan time. We would like to spend a few days at Angkor Wat but i would really appriciate some suggestions of other places to visit.. We prefer to be active rather than lie on a beach, are happy with cities or rural locations so suggestions for both would be great.

With 10 clear days on the ground in Cambodia you could easily fit in 3 destinations. My suggestion would be land in SR - spent 5 nights (so 4 full days) there then boat across Tonle Sap to Battambang for 3 nights then bus to PP for the rest of your time before flying out of PP.

10 days should be split as follows: Siem Reap (3-4 days) Phomn Penh (2-3 days) Sihanoukville (3-4 days) Kampot and Kep are nice and well worth seeing but in 10 days you don't have enough time and you stated in your original criteria that you wanted beaches. The beaches in Kep suck.
